Who Should Attend?

This course is for teachers, learning support assistants, lunchtime supervisors and office staff to ensure that staff administering medication are equipped with the knowledge to maintain safe practice for themselves and pupils in accordance with The Department for Education & Skills / Department of Health Guidance.

A maximum of 12 learners per trainer can attend this theory course, candidates receive a First Aid Angels certificate of Attendance that is valid for One year.

It’s essential that adequate provision for first aid cover is made at all times people are at work. Employers need to ensure there is cover for annual leave and other planned absences of first-aiders or appointed persons.
